Perdez Type Arrow Point

Late historic period, as recent as 200 yrs BP

Finely crafted of a thin flake of rootbeer Georgetown type flint.
Personal find from the Oatmeal area of Burnet Co.

Notes: This is an actual arrow point and is by far the thinnest point I've ever had in my hand.
The Comanche and Apache Indians used points of this type to tip their arrows with. You can see why a person couldn't just yank one back out of himself!
