Montell Type fillet knife

Middle-Late Archaic, approx 2,500 yrs BP

Super thin knife made of rootbeer flint

This point is in Joe Johnston's collection of his Gillespie County points he found on family property in the Pedernales River area.

Note: This big amazing bucktooth Montell is absolutely paper thin! If I had squeezed down any while taking the photo I would of been getting stitches! Thanks for letting me take the pics Joe!
