Morrill Type Dart Point
Early-Middle Archaic, approx 4500 yrs BP
Well made from a nice creamy translucent flint.
From the Lampasas River area of Burnet Co.
Note: Square shouldered, not barbed, the side that looks like a barb has a small knick broken out of the flint. This is still an excellent example of a Morrill type point.
