Trinity Type Dart Point

Early-Middle Archaic, approx 4,000 yrs BP

Well made from a wild translucent flint.
From the Lampasas River area of Lampasas Co.

Note: I am not exactly sure what this glassy material is, but I think it is petrified wood. This point has the side notches ground smooth. This is not a very common type. This is an unusually well made, classic shaped Trinity.
