Gower Type Dart Point
Early Archaic, approx 7000 yrs BP
Made of a semi-translucent multi-color flint.
Acquired from Bill Arnold who found this old point at his place on the Lampasas River in Burnet Co.
Note: Basal edges ground smooth. This is a old thick crudely made point, typical of the Gower type, but the point and blade edges are still razor sharp!
