We are doing a controlled dig here in 6 inch lifts:

Level "A" had a few flakes.
Level "B" had quite a bit more with bones and snails showing up.
Level "C" had lots of arrowpoint types, bones and snails.
We were barely getting into Level "D" with Archaic points starting to show up.

So that's where we stopped today as we ran out of daylight and energy at about the same time. We saved everything that we thought might be culturally related for study now and later. I am fortunate to have a place to store all of this carefully bagged cultural materials, even more fortuante to have a bunch of avocational archaeologist in the family helping to fill the bags up!
